Today is my best friends birthday, so I tell him I am going to take him out on the town.  Only thing is, he is working until 10 pm, so this gives me time to pre-party.  My pre-party involves going out with a my brother and 2 girls.  We start the night in Wylie at Boston's at about 8 pm.  Now I did not go out to eat, I came out to get shit faced before going out for my friends bday.  But one thing they don't tell you is that during the week, they close their bar at 9 pm.  What the hell is up with this?  No place that serves alcohol should ever close before 12pm.  This horrible dilemma forces me to down as many beers as I can before they cut me off.  You are probably saying "Four in an hour?  Are you some kind of bitch?"  Starting the night you have to start out slow.  Especially when you're chugging your third in 10 minutes and everyone is sipping on their first.  This made me decide to slow it down..... Let the girls get some boos in them before I start acting like an ass, throwing food and calling everyone a bitch.

After they finish using pizza to soak up the very little alcohol they consumed, and it being 9 pm so I can't drink anymore, we decided to high tail it to TGI's.  TGI's is packed at the bar.  There is nowhere for us to sit together, so I walk around and grab stools and put them in the middle of the floor for us to sit.  We (I) begin to order beers and shots of tequila.  I notice the bartenders are either old, ugly, fat, or all of the above.  After I get some more beers in me and the girls get more margarita's, I begin to think the bartenders aren't that bad.  I then find out that tequila makes the girls take their clothes off.  JUST LIKE THE SONG!!!!!  So I immediately order shots around the table.  After more shots, everyone else starts to talk and make friends.  Who the HELL does this?  I begin pounding more beers and slapping my monkey around.  I got the high score.....  Sometime around sometime, my friend arrives and we begin taking jager bombs.  We take about 4 rounds until everyone decides it's time to go.  I get upset....still not drunk enough.

Overall impression of Boston's and TGI's in Wylie:  If you want to go somewhere to just sit and talk, maybe have a few drinks, it's a good place.  If you're looking to get drunk off your ass, don't bother.  Stay home, watch reruns of House and drink everytime he acts like an ass.
